Where do I even begin to describe this wedding! Not only was it drop dead gorgeous, but it was SO. MUCH. FUN!
The dress…. so, so dreamy!
The Couple…. so much fun!
The styling and flowers…. jaw dropping
The plate smashing….. who doesn’t love such an awesome tradition?
The Priest who also married Giorgia’s Parents in Greece many years ago! How lovely is that????
And the Bride’s Parent’s house was an absolute dream. See for yourself!
This was my first wedding at The Westin in Perth, and it won’t be the last. I have another coming up in April, and it’ll be great to be back there again. This post really doesn’t need many words.
WOW WOW WOW!!! It’s not every day you get to photograph a wedding of this scale and so opulent!
Happy First wedding anniversary Grace and Anthony!
The ceremony was held at the very grand St Mary’s Cathedral Perth where Monsignor Keating made Grace, Anthony and little Leila’s ย family offical. Fast forward 12 months, and they are now a family of 4 with baby Alessia joining them recently. Let me tell you something, these guys make some seriously cute kids!!!
The reception was beyond our wildest dreams. Seriously, have you ever seen anything so beautiful before? There was absolutely nothing cookie cutter about this wedding. At all.
Mardie & Co planned, co-ordinated and styled every single aspect of their wedding day and went above and beyond anything you could ever imagine to transform the WA Italian Club into a venue of grand opulence. Flowers, lighting, furniture, crockery, cutlery, linen, glasses and much more were all brought in. ย So many suppliers contributed to this transformation so you must check out the list at the end of the post for Perth’s Dream Team of wedding vendors.
Stepping into the room that night still gives me goosebumps. I don’t have the words to describe how utterly gorgeous Mardi made the room look. She took the Couple’s dreams and made it reality. She really is the fairy godmother of weddings.
Italian weddings are always fun with plenty of emotion, love, laughterย and dancing, and this wedding was no exception. This night of dancing started out with the amazing group from Melbourne “Boys in the Band” singing some wonderful classic tunes, and even getting our Groom Anthony up on stage to join in. So much fun and such a highlight of the night! Later into the night, out came the piano-accordion which was guaranteed to have many guests joining in for the Tarantella.
I have no doubt you will be gushing over Grace and Anthony’s wedding as much as we loved being apart of their gorgeous day. Happy 1st Anniversary lovers!
Erica xx
