Throwback to this gorgeous family who were the lucky winners of my Father’s Day Giveaway last year!

We headed to this gorgeous Swan Valley location in Perth for their family photo shoot.

One of the prizes (aside from a family photo shoot experience from me, plus a gorgeous wall art piece of their choice) was a gift certificate to BBQ School, so for a bit of fun, I asked all the entrants to share a funny cooking fail story so I could choose a worthy winner!

Here’s a snippet of their entry, which helped them snag the major prize! “My husband set his back garden on fire when cooking a bbq before we met, had to get the hose and some buckets of water to put it out! Thankfully he has improved since then!”

After the photo shoot

By the time they came to collect their prize and order, they shared some good news with me, that they had put an offer in on a house, and it got accepted! So they were delighted to be able to take these beautiful memories into their new home ????

I absolutely adore how much kids love looking at photos of themselves! It brings a smile to my day every time parents bring the kids back into the studio to see their artwork and printed photos for the first time! On this day, I happened to have my camera with me, and I couldn’t resist taking a few photos.
